Senior guard Anthony Anderson explodes for 45-points as Arsenal Tech earns a 97-84 win over a very talented Marion squad. Anderson went 12 of 19 from 2-point land, 5 of 7 from deep and was a perfect 6 of 6 from the charity stripe. The senior guard also managed to snag 11 boards and 6 steals.
Anderson wasn’t without help from the rest of the Titan clan. Fellow senior guard Damion Wilburn scored 19 points of his own, while shooting 6 of 8 from 2-point range and 7 of 8 from the free-throw line. Wilburn also dished out a team high 5 assist. Junior Isaac Halvorson knocked in 4 of 9 from long range, finishing the game with 17 points. Derek Ball brought the energy all night on both ends of the floor, finishing with 8 points, 4 rebounds.
Tech moves to 4-1 in NCC Conference play. Next up the Titans will turn their focus to the Indianapolis City Tournament which starts on Monday, January 15th. Arsenal received a bye in the first round, and therefore will host the winner of Bishop Chatard versus Heritage Christian game on Tuesday night. The JV game will start at 6pm, varsity at 7:30pm.
